Vlogging Schooling

    It's that time of year again where we (or maybe just me) starts longing for the fall routines of school days. I must admit that school has always been a part of my heart. Learning new things, the smells of the crisp air (once the weather turns), school supplies, and seeing friends.

    

    Even with all of those lovely memories of my childhood, even with my own background in teaching, we chose when my oldest got closer and closer to Kindergarten, that we would homeschool. Everyone has different reasons for doing so. For me, I began to realize that I spent day after day with my child. Loving him, teaching him, and looking out for him. As Kindergarten approached, it hit me that I'd send him away for hours each day. My thoughts turned to "Why?" "I'm just as capable as his potential teachers." So from then on, it has been my blessing to have my children home to teach, learn, and grow together in the environment we have made in our home.

    For many this year, with the fears of the virus, with the public (even private) indecisions, many are turning to homeschooling. If you are new...YAY!!!! We are so excited for you on your new adventure. If your kiddos are heading back into the schools, then Yay for you all as well!
